While searching for the right words, which simply didn't come, I found them in the words of Tehillim, ב"ה there are no words that could bring more comfort.
A song a Tehillim by Asaph.
Oh G-d, do not be silent, do not be quiet and do not be still, oh G-d.
For behold, Your enemies are in uproar, and those who hate You have raised their head.
They plot deviously against Your nation, and conspire against those who sheltered by You.
They say, "Come, let us sever them from nationhood, and the name of Israel will be remembered no more.”
For they conspire with a unanimous heart, they made a covenant against You.
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,
Geval and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre
Assyria, too, joined with them, and became the strength of the sons of Lot, Selah..
Do to them as to Midian; as to Sisera and Yavin at the brook of Kishon,
who were destroyed at Ein Dor, and were as dung for the earth.
Make their nobles like Orev and Ze'ev, all their princes like Zevach and Tzalmuna,
who said, "Let us inherit the dwellings of God for ourselves.”
My God, make them like whirling chaff, like straw before the wind.
As a fire consumes the forest, and a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
So pursue them with Your tempest and terrify them with Your storm.
Fill their faces with shame, and they will seek Your Name, O Lord.
Let them be shamed and terrified forever; let them be disgraced and perish.
And they will know that You, Whose Name is the Lord, are alone, Most High over all the earth.
Tehillim 83
Where was humanity? This question was asked many times during the past 16 months. And today it felt like it was just us and HaShem and I do believe HaShem was crying up there when He looked down and felt our pain. We hold on to that love of HaShem and we can take comfort that these precious neshamos are back with HaShem.
It is the love of HaShem that gives us comfort, strength and courage to keep going in a dark world to bring light, on a rocky path and many obstacles to overcome that keeps us going.
We will be davening for Yarden asking for comfort and strength, together in Shul or at home. We light a candle for the next 30 days.
Please keep davening for the hostages 🎗
