Vehi Sheamda

Vehi Sheamda tells our story and I can see us coming out of Mitzrayim, a battered and traumatized people, walking towards Har Sinai to receive the Torah and then spending 40 years in the desert before we could enter our land given to Avahram by HaShem as our heritage.

Feeling centries of pain, but also of hope and a sense of relief. The knowledge that we are not alone and that HaShem is always on our side.

All our enemies through the centries, millenia are gone, but we are still here.

We went through the Holocaust and came out stronger, we witnessed  the atrocities of October 7, which we thought after the Holocaust would never happen again. Anti- semitism has awaken yet again, the nations looking the other way and turning an blind eye.

We also will get through the darkness we experience today, and come out stronger with HaShem on our side again.

Through our pain, there is always hope, there is perseverance, but above all there is always the joy we manage to find, the Torah that bonds as a nation and knowing its HaShem who is always on our side.

May the coming of the Moshiach will be speedily in our time.
