It is most a year since the massacre of October 7th, Simchas Torah, a day we celebrate the conclusion of the annunal cycle of the Torah.
We are now in the month of Elul, a month of celebration but also a month to reflect on almost a whole year of heartache and pain, the suffering of the hostages, the war that we didn't start but in today's " upside down world " it doesn't make a difference.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Israel, our people, the hostages, our focus on the Torah and mitzvos, on Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, teshuvah, Sukkos and Simchas Torah.
May we see the hostages released, the unity of the Jewish people and may we in the New Year 5785, dance again on Simchas Torah.
